From derelict Railway Station to Community
Centre: Alexandra Palace, London

Known to the locals as "Ally Pally", built as North London’s rival to the Crystal Palace, birthplace of TV, clearly visible from the London Eye, twice burned down…. The Palace had its own branch line, whose station has been meticulously restored (as part of the second reconstruction) for a local community group.
